When we started our scheduling software business MaxScheduler we wrote a business plan. One of the first steps was performing industry reach to learn background information. We checked out numerous companies that were in the industry. I was personally amazed to find that many of the websites didn't provide much information that would help customers educate themselves. Part of this is that it costs money to educate. I can appreciate that. At the same time though I suspect that some businesses want to withhold information as a way to keep an upper hand. We would like to help change this by writing articles to share some of our experiences.
